The Toshiba R500 is not as expensive as its older tablet sibling the R400 (which also is much heavier than the R500).
The R500 laptop can be found for the low, low price
of $2399 at newegg..... Here in Denmark the R500 comes in cheaper than the annouced price for the Mac Air.
