Power Supplies

So, I want to put together a list of Power supplies you guys are willing to send over here for testing. So I know what to buy for the Super Computers.

This is what of my own I will be testing.

1. PC&PC 1kw
2. Silverstone OP1000 (1kw)
3. Coolermaster 550w
4. Coolermaster 700w
5. FSP 400w
6. Mushkin 750w

What else can we add to the list. I will pay shipping both ways to test your power supplies.

~Michael

Well, I don't have one, but can I make a suggestion? The Corsair 550W is a very interesting beast, I would love to see that tested.

I've got a Antec EA500W, Ultra Xfinity 600W, and Ultra V Series 500W I can send. How long do you think you'd keep them for?

I really think you should test a few "generic" PSUs like Xion or any of the artificially boosted 600w+ PSUs.

Kill a couple just to show they are crap

Haha, Well Basically, IT would probably take around a day or so to test 3-4 power supplies. We will be testing load capabilities, and ripples, and Max Load. We have to make sure that power supplies are under warranty too.

Minor point but the Mushkin is an 800. It would be cool to get ahold of one of the Zalman HP units.
