The "WTF? How am I suppose to do that?" GTA IV thread
Okay. So I have been playing the main storyline, and I think I skipped a few things here and there, but I am getting missions that make me say, "WTF?!? How am I suppose to do that?" a lot lately. A few of them are the vigilante missions, where you have to chase a car and still kill all the other criminals. Yeah...riiight. So, this car takes off BEFORE you get there, and you must get them, along with all the other fleeing criminals. THAT IS BULLSH*T!!! hahaha. I even killed the guy who was on the wanted list, but didn't get credit, cause the other criminals fled the scene.
Oh, and don't get me started on the Brucie's race (I won't go further, since it might be a spoiler to some). All I have to say is - either I suck at driving in GTA IV or I really suck at driving in GTA IV. LOL
One last thing - During one of Little Jacobs jobs (again, won't go into detail), I could not find the guy, because the objective arrow kept changing from UP, then DOWN, then UP, then no arrow, and I was not moving, and he wasn't moving...it just took forever to really figure out where he was. By the time I found him...my timer ran out. THANKS!!! LOL
Anyone else having a great time with some of these WTF?!? missions? LOL

That race with Brucie was brutal. Until I started shooting out tires at the starting line. . .

I actually beat the race on the first try, although I won't try to claim that luck wasn't involved (skidded around the last turn and wiped out the leader while managing to use him to keep myself on the road).

When it's $10 on PC I'll let you know how to do it.
That is if it's not buggy as all **** like San Andreas is.

Hmmm....that's an interesting idea, indeed. Might have to give it a "shot". LOL

How bout less talk more pew pew k?
As for GTA IV, I can't say I am a fan. Since I am not too familiar with controllers, or in fact any game control scheme besides that of Counter-Striker, EVERY mission was impossible for me (played with my friend).

I can't imagine a single Single-player game that I didn't use cheats to beat. Except Half-Life 2.

C'mon now. Cheating is fine, as far as I am concerned. Sure bragging about cheating isn't the greatest thing to do, but I have used a few codes in my day (ie. Gears of War for PC - Final BOSS = BS!) LOL
But the thing about cheating on XBOX 360 version is that it will lock you from certain achievements, so that's fine and dandy.
Let's not make this into a "jump on a cheater" thread, okay? LOL

General Raam was pretty easy once you get the system down. He beat my ass about 35 times before I figured it out, though.

Why not. I love cheating in single player games.

Why didn't I think of that? I shot some of the drivers dead as we took off, but the mission automatically ended after that. So then I did the race at night, when there's less traffic, and found it much easier.
