Metallica will ask for too much, I bet. Then Activison will give them the finger, and Metallica will try to push to Rock Band, but they will give them the finger too.

HAHAHA.

Well, if Metallica aren't buttheads like before, then their collection of songs would seriously put Guitar Hero 4 (with the same drums and mic, as Rock Band) in prime position to kick a$$.

I agree with NMDante. I love Metallica from Kill 'Em All to the Black CD(Load is the last CD i bought of theirs)..and have been a big fan since 1982/83. But after the Napster BS that Lars initiated, i could care less about them, and if they were to just "Fade To Black". They went from being a group who was all about standing up for yourself, and not bowing "to the man"... to greedy has-been wannabees. I still like their music, but they'll never see another cent from me again. /rant

Farhang should release a mod for GH2 called Guitar Hero: Britney Spears.

On topic...meh. Not a huge Metallica fan, don't really like metal in general. But anyway, the way I see it, unless GH4 has an updatable song database like Rock Band, its popularity will spike instead of staying consistent. The reason Rock Band is so popular (4-person play notwithstanding) is because it's always getting new songs available for download. Whichever game has the better setlist will get my money, not which drum set looks more like a real drum set. (Though the quality/compatibility of the controllers is important too)

Yeah well... I still win! Mustaine's voice annoys me. He sounds like someone trying to imitate a baby with an extremely forced baby goo-goo.

You don't like his voice, yet you like Slayer and other groups that sound like they've been gargling glass?

I'm still anti-Metallica after the whole Napster deal. Oh wait, aren't they the ones who started the RIAA business?

Yes, Lar's greed is unforgiven.

I understood why they got angry... They worked hard to produce a song and before they could release it, someone had downloaded it from napster and was playing it on the radio... Lets face, these guys are getting old and probably aren't anything close to techies, lol.

Greedy,... maybe, but I don't think that is what sparked the whole napster thing. I've met the guys and they don't seem greedy at all to me...

Metallica couldn't see the future of music even as it was clubbing them in the forehead. Ulrich did make some ignorant, seemingly greedy comments. I think of the whole misic biz turnaround as some sort of kharma readjustment. Look at it this way: there are many thousands of bands that would have loved to have had their tunes downloaded from Napster and played on the radio. There is great talent all over the world that only gets to play to a small audience.
