Looks good.
I just have issues with the 630i chipset. In other words, I hate them. LOL.

Still, good article.

I agree. It's absolutely minuscule compared to a normal ATX board. I think it would work great with an e1200, and even allow an overclock on it if need be. If it had a PCIe16x slot, this could definitely be a winner in the LAN gamer arena.

Pop in a 1x pci-e graphics card and you would have a really nice media pc with that board. If not for me wanting to game on one if I were to build a media pc, I would go with something like this. Wish it had 4 SATA and no IDE though.

I would also have been just fine w/ it not having any IDE support. IDE is aged, and actually, with the board being so small, the IDE port takes up a sizeable portion of the board!

It's really a shame that most PCIe 1x GPUs are REALLY expensive....The question is why? If anything, they might be cheaper to make than their 16x counterparts.

Yea the only ones in newegg are an X1550. one is $100 and I think the other is like $130.

The reason for the higher price on the PCIe 1x cards is the fact that they are not as mass produced as the 16x cards, therefore are more expensive because of limited runs. At least that's what I'm assuming.

It's a good start by Zotac in the area of a mITX board. I really love the price. Echoing the comments of others, I would ditch the IDE support and PCIe x1 slot for a PCIe x16 slot. Possibly use a newer 9x000 series instead so that you gain dual channel memory... I guess Optical audio support would be nice too.

That truly would be the ultimate mini board that could cater to all segments.

I suppose that is true. My question, is it really that hard to engineer it so they can literally cut off the connectors and sell it as a 1x card? I think it wouldn't be that difficult.

Also an option would be for Zotac to make the space on the board more open and use an open ended 4x slot or something likewise.
