Great job, Keith. I personally think that was a very good review... not too long, not too short. Perfect for me.
Anyway, interesting results. I was a little scared when I saw this ugly result:
But, I'm glad they're using high-quality caps and all that. I'd probably buy this guy if I were in the market for 1100w PSU.![]()

Great review, but I think it would be remiss not to point out that there are a significant number of grammatical errors (and a touch of verbosity) in the article.
I know it's a ****** to write and revise, especially since our reviewers aren't professional reviewers, but like it or not writing professionally goes a long towards being recognized by other folk.
This is not a rant against the review itself, nor against you personally, SR4, but I think this is a bit of constructive criticism for worth considering for everyone.

Moar power! ........ you were saying?
Anway, awesome job on the review. It's nice seeing XCPUS branch out to the PSU field. I do agree with Seal's constructive criticism though. There are a few grammatical errors and I think that 2 of the pages possibly should switched. Personally, I feel that the page showing the internal guts should come before the actual testing, but that may just be me. Aside from that, good stuff.
Keep up the excellent work guys!

"Cooler Master has also started a couple other brand names, such as Choiix who sells consumer products such as laptop coolers, and the high end CSX case line."
Should be "Choiix which", not "who". Choiix is not a person. We use them interchangeably in normal conversation, but it's not proper.
"Again, this PSU was installed and used briefly, so please disregard the slight scratches on the casing, this was not caused during shipping, and was not delivered in this state."
Corrected version should read: "Again, this PSU was installed and used briefly, so please disregard the slight scratches on the casing; these was not caused during shipping, and it was not delivered in this state."
"Just be careful during install, and you should be just fine though."
This is particularly informal. Corrected version should read: "Just be careful during installation, and you should be fine." This is still not properly written, but it is grammatically accurate.
I pulled these off the first couple pages. There are more, trust me.

Be kind...I want as much feedback as possible.
SEAL, thanks for the criticism. I try to write as well as I can, but I'm not an english major or anything. I will be held responsible for anything wrong with the technical content in the PSU articles. (I'm sure there isn't anything) As far as grammar, I do what I can, and the editors will need to do the rest. I will work on making the wording a bit less verbose.
What do you guys think about the content? What am I missing? What is unnecessary?
I will take a quick poll and decide whether we want to switch the internals and testing pages in the future.
Thanks for all the feedback,
Keith

Testing is usually last, so I guess it's more a matter of convention than an actual "problem."
If anyone wants, I would be willing to proofread articles and try to fix any language errors.

Finally, it's great to see a PSU review! I know we have many more to come too, but that was a fantastic PSU review. Great job Keith.

A ripple of less than 45mV for the 12V rail in Test 4. Most impressive!
Anything less than 60mV @100% load on 12V rail is A+ in my book.
The necessary data is all there to make judgment so that's the important thing. (What I prefer anyway) Maybe for the less informed reader you can analyse those oscilloscope results for them, tell them if those results are good or not...etc.
Overall, superb review as always!![]()
