Lightbulb I feel like a tool...

So had anyone else noticed themselves trying to use Aero Snap on a Windows XP or Vista machine?

The Snap is one of the first things I turn off on a new 7 installation. I tried to use it but found it annoying because it would change the window size by accident.

    ...so no.

I can't use XP anymore because I just get annoyed after a few minutes of everything being wrongly located and organized.

Personally, I love it, it's a wonderful new feature for me to use. Now the secondary right mouse button automatically turning into a magnifier, instead of being a forward button in the browsers, that's something I find annoying.

I just get so used to it because my 3 machines at home and my work machine all have Windows 7. When I work on other peoples PCs I always try to use it.

I don't even know what aero snap is and I've been running windows7 for a year now... I might have to go look it up when I get home xD I alt-tab like a mofo. It actually turned me off from using tabbed browsers for a long time because I can't navigate between my tabs like I could windows. Still annoys the piss out of me sometimes. Alt-tab is just so fast and intuitive and it was really the only way to get your job done in a timely manner when filling out multiple forms simultaneously while doing telephone tech support. Also useful when trying to glue graphics together or write research papers.

ctrl+c, alt-tab, ctrl+v, alt+tab-tab, ctrl+v, alt+tab-tab, repeat <--- can you do that sort of stuff with aero snap?

Aero Snap is just a way of organizing windows on the screen, not switching. For instance, grab a window and bring it to the top of the screen and it will auto maximize.
