Looks like it runs a bit better than Crysis, as we know.
Too bad they didn't use a GTX 280...

i played both games n to me, the original crysis looks better, simply cuz it can run on 64 bit. it gives me better fps on higher settings. less stuttering too. I hope Crytek will come out with a 64 bit patch for CW.

the hd4870x2 runs faster on 1680x1050 than 1024x768 O.o even the hd4870 beats the hd4870x2 at 1024x768...

Yeah, but who in their right mind would use a 4870x2 for 1024x768? (Of course, a friend of mine was using an 8800Ultra for 1024x768, lol)
Although it is weird. It really makes no sense. Probably just a driver issue. The driver team, I would imagine, concentrated less on low resolution performance than high?
(BTW, I have almost beat Crysis, so I'll try this out soon)

I suspect that the low resolution doesn't stress enough of the card where it has brute force, and stresses things like core clock and shader clock.

Kind of like maxing out a network connection, requires more than 1 transmission going through the pipe (ie. 2 downloads will use more bandwidth than 1)

but that wouldnt matter because the hd4870x2 is just to hd4870. im just sticking to driver issue, or crossfire + crysis issue

I'm sure 2560x1600 is the real way to go...
But yeah, 7950GT + Crysis + 1680x1050 = PHAIL.

I thought 1680 x 1050 was the business until I played it on a 24" screen. 1920 x 1200 (or higher) is sex.

Oh yeah surely it is, but for some reason, i dont think my GX2 can handle it, especially once too many thing go on at one time (explosions, lights, bullets, dirt, etc)
well, i'll see about it, im gonna get a 24" in a few days hopefully
