    Favorite rendition of a song

There have been a few threads asking what you are listening to and such. This one is a bit different. What I want to know is if you find a particular rendition of a song is the best you've heard post it.
It's not necessarily your favorite song, and it may be the original artist. I would prefer songs that more than one artist has recorded though.
It may take a village to raise a child, but it only takes one child to raze a village.

YouTube - New York Philharmonic in North Korea

I love this song. Have for decades since I first heard it, but I really love this rendition. I dare say eura will reconize it.

Sorry I don't know how to post a youtube link other than just posting the url.

Another song's rendition I particularly like.

My favorite performance of Coheed & Cambria's song Neverender was at the Terminal 5 on their Neverender tour.

YouTube - Neverender: Neverender by Coheed and Cambria (Night I)

Best rendition of that song by far.

    That is awesome.

I saw them open for Slipknot not too long ago, very good The mix was off for the first 1/3, but it got good by the time they got rolling.

One of few covers that I like more than the original:

YouTube - TOOL- No Quarter (Alex Grey Art)

Another cover that is better than original:
    YouTube - Tool- You Lied

Best rendition of one of my favorite songs of all time (Horrible sound quality on this one, do yourself a favor and buy the PULSE DVD):
YouTube - Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb Pulse 1994 (Live)

There are many others that I am thinking of, but this thread could go on awhile Good thread

Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen, and I've heard at least 4 different artist's versions. Also Imagine by Our Lady Peace (original was Lennon IIRC, never heard the original tho), Con Te Partiro by Andrea Bocelli IIRC (they did a spanish version in the movie stepbrothers, and another one in South Park by Kenny. Obviously the south park one wasnt that good being muffled ) Other than old-old stuff, Smooth Criminal by Alien Ant Farm, Micheal Jackson does the original.

YouTube - Neverender: Mother Superior by Coheed and Cambria (Night IV)

The electric guitar intro makes the song sound so much darker than the acoustic Claudio used in the studio - it really adds a lot to the performance.

    YouTube - Rush - Natural Science 10-13-2002

Fantastic performance of Natural Science (my favorite Rush song).
