    Prolonged use of Nano fluid.

After about 6 months of using the clear Nano fluid here is what my insides look like.

    CPU water block/D-tek v2

Overall system pic. With 4770,s in CF.

What it looks like now. With a 4890 from SR4.
I need to get the 4890 under water, the fan is loud
Plus, so far my 4770,s have proven to out perform the single 4890.
but this is only in the 3dmarks.

Yeah it seems to be. Guess there arent any weird addatives to gum stuff up.
It sure looks cloudy in the bottle it came in and when you first put it in your system.

I would not spend the money on it again though.
50 bucks for a bottle and only a couple of degrees difference in temps is not worth it.

I just originally purchased it to see for myself. Plus its rated to below freezing.

But on the flip side, if it stays that clean, there should be much less maintenance which could make it worth the cost.

Doubtful. I have yet to do any major cleaning on my blocks even with straight distilled + PT_nuke. Each time I disassemble my blocks they're as clean as Heck's.

And is the difference really a couple degrees? I'd imagine the coolants would end up about the same (especially if run 24/7), as once a fluid reaches equilibrium the dissipation depends more on the radiators than the coolant.

I use the Koolance liquid. I've used many of the others and they always have crazy side effects. the Koolance can be ran for a year, and you wont see any of those little snot wads.

    Its pretty cheap too.

For the difference in temps with the nano fluid it seems to run a little cooler when under load.
