Welcome Back!

I apologize for not getting this up and done sooner. Needless to say the forums, and the front page got hacked, we since then have locked things down, and things appear to be better over all.

I was able to get the front page done sooner, but the forums with all of its data was MUCH more difficult to deal with. Needless to say, I just finished it! YAHOO!

Just in time with Facebook about to take a nose dive, and doing other crazy things to people. (Censorship, etc etc).

PC Desk/Case Mod (2012) ‹ Shazim Mohammad's Blog and Portfolio

This guy has built a monster into his desk. 3 monitor setup, i5 2500K, Radeon HD 7950 card (both with water blocks). Fascinating read, took a fair bit of carpentry. The end result is gorgeous:
    Dell Precision M4400 Laptop
    Nvidia Quadro FX 770M
    C2D T9550 @ 2.66 GHz
    4 GB DDR2-800
    320 GB HDD (7200 RPM)
    1280x800 LED
    Backlit Keyboard
    Win 7 Pro 32-bit

and a 1 TB Seagate Expansion External HD on the side for dippin...

Have akinetopsia would suck. It's like having a crappy video card, but in real life! Moving things appear to spontaneously change position, they don't move naturally. Your whole experience of reality is a slideshow.

Very nice! Needs more radiator and better fans though

Here is my desk mockup that I'll be making maybe this Christmas time, really rough SketchUp to show my Grandpa what I was talking about:

Will be oak or maple, vents will be those floor heating duct vents for wood flooring, top is glass.

I would say 5 years ago, what Phoenix posted, I would have liked. As of recently, I'm finding myself liking less flashy stuff. Tool's build is awesome. Kind of wish I had the time and funding to do something like that. My current gaming setup is starting to show its age.

I also like the more subdued builds now, my Mountain Mods had 1 small blue LED in the reservoir and that was it.

I'm entertaining lightly frosted or black glass for the desk build with some controllable muted lighting inside to give a light glow but nothing distracting. Looks cool for a couple days then gets old.

You should've seen my face when I realised my computer couldn't play Borderlands 1 at 1980x1080 on medium graphics.
